Oak Park Aikikai Kids' ProgramIs there a six-14 year-old in your life who would enjoy aikido? Kids who study aikido develop a mental and physical awareness, while learning cooperation and respect for others. At OPA, kids learn through exercises, games, and paired practice. As with adults, time is spent learning to fall properly.
The OPA kids’ class meets on Fridays from 530p-615p at Stevenson Center. See the ‘Class Info’ page for session dates. Kids should wear sweat pants and a tee-shirt to practice. Mark Sharp teaches the OPA kids’ class, with assistance from Liz Scholtens. Contact Mark at oakparkaikido@gmail.com or 708.317.8405. |
